New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): In view of the rising prices of turmeric, large traders and stockists have withheld their stocks, resulting in an immediate shortage of good-quality turmeric in the market. Around 80% of last season’s stocks have been exhausted in major producing markets such as Erode, Warangal, Sangli and Nizamabad. Consequently, selling pressure in the mandis has reduced considerably. After a sustained rise, turmeric prices have witnessed a slight correction. Last week, continuous buying pushed spot prices of Erode Gatta turmeric up by Rs 1000 to Rs 23700/23800 per quintal. However, after a correction of Rs 400, prices strengthened by Rs 100 today to reach Rs 23400/23500 per quintal. Turmeric is expected to witness a sharp rise in the near future.
हल्दी : किल्लत से बढ़ेगी और रंगत
नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) हल्दी की कीमतों में तेजी को देखते हुए बड़े व्यापारियों और स्टॉकिस्टों ने माल को रोक लिया है, जिससे बाजार में अच्छी क्वालिटी की हल्दी की तात्कालिक किल्लत हो गई है। इरोड, वारंगल, सांगली और निजामाबाद जैसी प्रमुख उत्पादक मंडियों में पिछले सीजन का लगभग 80 प्रतिशत स्टॉक खत्म हो चुका है। इससे मंडियों में बिकवाली का दबाव काफी कम हो गया है। हल्दी की कीमतों में लगातार तेजी के बाद थोड़ा करेक्शन देखने को मिल रहा है। पिछले सप्ताह लगातार लिवाली के चलते हाजिर में हल्दी इरोड गट्टा के भाव 1000 रुपए छलांग लगाकर 23700/23800 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल पर पहुंच गए थे। लेकिन अब 400 रुपए का कलेक्शन के बाद आज 100 रुपए मजबूत होकर 23400/23500 रुपए हो गई। और निकट भविष्य के अंदर इसमें भयंकर तेजी दिखाई दे रही है।
Red Chilli: Expected to Remain high
New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): Arrivals of the old crop are reportedly declining in major markets such as Guntur. Farmers and big traders are selling limited quantities of their stocks in anticipation of higher prices. Following the recent rise in red chilli prices, buying activity has weakened slightly. Recently, prices of red chilli variety No. 334 had increased by Rs 500 per quintal, after which rates in Delhi remained steady at the previous level of Rs 26000/28000 per quintal. Although export demand from major countries such as China has slowed somewhat, domestic prices remain firm due to a significant shortage of stocks in the local market, despite the decline in exports.
लालमिर्च : आगे तीखी बनी रहेगी
नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) गुंटूर जैसी प्रमुख मंडियों में पुरानी फसल की आवक कम बताई जा रही है। किसान और बड़े व्यापारी इस समय ऊंचे दामों की उम्मीद में अपने माल की सीमित बिकवाली कर रहे हैं। हाल ही में लालमिर्च कीमतों में आई तेजी के बाद फिलहाल लिवाली थोड़ी कमजोर पड़ी है, हाल ही में लालमिर्च 334 नंबर की कीमतों में 500 रुपए की तेजी आई थी। जिससे यहां पर इसके भाव 26000/28000 प्रति क्विंटल के पूर्वस्तर पर टिके हुए हैं। हालांकि वैश्विक स्तर पर चीन जैसे बड़े देशों से निर्यात मांग में फिलहाल थोड़ी सुस्ती देखी जा रही है, लेकिन घरेलू बाजार में स्टॉक की कमी इतनी ज्यादा है कि निर्यात में गिरावट के बावजूद स्थानीय कीमतें मजबूत बनी हुई हैं।
Poppy Seeds: Unlikely to Witness a Decline
New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): The new crop of poppy seeds began arriving in March and April, and increased arrivals have helped keep prices stable in the mandis. Despite bumper sowing, strong export demand had rapidly depleted stocks. However, at the beginning of the new season, extremely limited old-crop stocks in warehouses have provided support to prices and prevented a decline. The market is currently subdued, following a recent fall of Rs 50. Turkish poppy seed prices in Delhi remain at their previous level of Rs 1300/1400 per kg. Despite the ongoing festive and wedding season, domestic demand for poppy seeds appears somewhat sluggish. At present, a sustained rise in prices seems unlikely.
पोस्तदाना : टूटने की संभावना नहीं
नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) मार्च और अप्रैल में पोस्तदाना की नई फसल शुरू हो गई है, जिससे मंडियों में नई फसल की आवक बढ़ने से कीमतों में स्थिरता देखने को मिल रही है। बंपर बुवाई के बावजूद मजबूत निर्यात मांग के कारण स्टॉक तेजी से खाली हो गया था। लेकिन नए सीजन की शुरुआत में गोदामों में पुराना स्टॉक बेहद सीमित होने से कीमतों को नीचे जाने से सहारा मिला है। पोस्तदाना की कीमतों में इस समय बाजार सुस्त पड़ा हुआ है इससे पूर्व हाल ही में इसमें 50 रुपए की मंदी आई थी। यहां पर पोस्तदाना तुर्की के भाव 1300/1400 रुपए प्रति किलो के पूर्वस्तर पर टिके हुए है। इस समय त्योहारों और शादियों का सीजन होने के बावजूद भी घरेलू बाजार में पोस्तदाना की मांग थोड़ी ठंडी दिखाई दे रही है। फिलहाल इसमें लंबी तेजी की संभावना नहीं लग रही है।
Coriander: expected to increase again
New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): Stocks of the old crop have declined considerably in the mandis, while arrivals of the new crop have also remained limited. As a result, adequate supplies are not available in the market. Following a decline of Rs 300 today, Badami coriander prices fell to Rs 17600/17800 per quintal. Meanwhile, farmers and large traders in producing states are gradually releasing their old stocks in anticipation of better prices, preventing any sudden increase in supply pressure in the mandis. In some markets across Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, arrivals remain lower than buying demand, supporting prices. Consumption of packaged spices is increasing in the country, while enquiries for Indian coriander and coriander powder exports from West Asia, Europe and Africa remain strong. Further gains are expected in the coming days.

नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) मंडियों में पुरानी फसल का स्टॉक काफी कम हो चुका है और नई फसल की आवक भी कम रह गई गई है। इसके चलते बाजार में पर्याप्त माल उपलब्ध नहीं है। आज इसमें 300 रुपए की नरमी आने से बादामी के भाव घटकर 17600/17800 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल रह गए। उधर अच्छे दामों की उम्मीद में उत्पादक राज्यों के किसान और बड़े व्यापारी अपना पुराना स्टॉक धीरे-धीरे निकाल रहे हैं, जिससे मंडियों में अचानक सप्लाई का दबाव नहीं बन रहा है। एमपी और राजस्थान की कुछ मंडियों में लिवाली के मुकाबले माल की आवक कम देखी जा रही है, जो कीमतों को ऊपर खींच रही है। देश में पैकेट वाले मसालों की खपत बढ़ रही है, साथ ही पश्चिम एशिया, यूरोप और अफ्रीका से भारतीय धनिया और पाउडर के निर्यात के लिए पूछताछ मजबूत बनी हुई है। आगामी दिनों में इसमें और लाभ मिलने की संभावना है।
Black Pepper: Shortage of Stocks in the Markets
New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): Daily arrivals of black pepper in major producing regions and markets have fallen by nearly half. In major markets such as Kochi, daily supplies are limited to around 15 tonnes. Due to the current shortage of supplies, farmers and large stockists are reluctant to sell at lower prices and are holding back their stocks. Following a rise of Rs 35/40 per kg within a week, Malabar black pepper prices surged to a high of Rs 820/830 per kg. Despite the current high prices, farmers and large stockists are in no hurry to sell their remaining produce, providing strong support to the domestic market. Uncertainty surrounding the upcoming crop in major producing countries such as Vietnam has also unsettled the international market.
कालीमिर्च : मंडियों में स्टॉक की कमी
नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) प्रमुख उत्पादक क्षेत्रों और मंडियों में काली मिर्च की दैनिक आवक करीब आधी रह गई है। कोच्चि जैसे बड़े बाजारों में रोजाना की सप्लाई केवल 15 टन के आसपास ही हो पा रही है। किसान और बड़े स्टॉकिस्ट मौजूदा कम आपूर्ति के कारण कम भाव पर माल बेचने से बच रहे हैं और इसे रोककर रख रहे है। एक सप्ताह के भीतर इसमें 35/40 रुपए की तेजी आने से कालीमिर्च मरकरा के भाव उछलकर 820/830 रुपए प्रति किलो के उच्च स्तर पर पहुंच गए। वर्तमान ऊंचे भावों के बावजूद किसान और बड़े स्टॉकिस्ट अपनी बची हुई फसल को बेचने की जल्दी में नहीं हैं, जिससे घरेलू बाजार को मजबूत सपोर्ट मिल रहा है। वियतनाम जैसे बड़े उत्पादक देशों में आगामी फसल को लेकर अनिश्चितता का माहौल है, जिसके कारण अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार भी सहमा हुआ है।
Cumin: will increase in future
New Delhi, October 26 (NNS): Arrivals of premium quality bold cumin seeds have declined considerably in major trading centres across Gujarat and Rajasthan. October and November mark the sowing season for rabi crops, and farmers are holding back their remaining old-crop stocks instead of bringing them to the mandis in anticipation of better prices. Recently, prices of average-quality cumin increased by Rs 200 to Rs 28400/29200 per quintal. However, profit-booking at higher levels following sharp rallies has resulted in minor price fluctuations from time to time. Demand from the domestic spice industry remains strong ahead of the festive season and with the onset of winter. There are also signs of improving export demand for Indian cumin from countries such as China, Turkey and Syria. Cumin is expected to become increasingly valuable in the coming days.
जीरा : आगे हीरा बन जायेगा
नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) गुजरात और राजस्थान के प्रमुख व्यापारिक केंद्रों में बढ़िया क्वालिटी वाले बोल्ड दानों की आवक काफी कम हो गई है। इस समय अक्टूबर-नवंबर में रबी फसलों की बुवाई का सीजन चल रहा है। बेहतर कीमतों की उम्मीद में किसानों ने अपने पुराने बचे स्टॉक को मंडियों में लाने के बजाय रोक लिया है। हाल ही में एवरेज क्वालिटी वाले जीरे की कीमतें 200 रुपए बढ़कर 28400/29200 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल पर पहुंच गई। हालांकि बीच-बीच में तेज उछाल के बाद ऊपरी स्तरों पर मुनाफावसूली देखने को मिल रही है, जिससे कीमतों में हल्के उतार-चढ़ाव आ रहे हैं। आगामी त्योहारी सीजन और सर्दियों के चलते घरेलू मसाला उद्योग की मांग मजबूत बनी हुई है। साथ ही चीन, तुर्की और सीरिया जैसे देशों से भी भारतीय जीरे की निर्यात मांग में सुधार के संकेत मिल रहे हैं। आने वाले दिनों में जीरा हीरा बन जायेगा।
Big Cardamom: Outlook Remains Profitable
New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): Reports indicate that the first crop from Nepal, the main supplying country, has been weaker than normal, while arrivals in the producing markets have not yet picked up significantly. Consequently, there is no substantial pressure from excess supplies in the market. Fresh crop arrivals are continuing in the mandis. Demand for large cardamom remains steady in the domestic market ahead of the November–December festive season and the onset of winter. In Delhi, Kangra-cut large cardamom prices surged by Rs 120 per kg within a week to reach Rs 1650/1680 per kg. Only around 20–30% of the total crop has reached the major producing and trading markets of Sikkim and Siliguri so far. In view of the festive season and approaching winter, the outlook for large cardamom remains favourable.

नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) दिल्ली मड़ियो के साथ-साथ मुख्य आपूर्तिकर्ता देश नेपाल से भी पहली फसल सामान्य से कमजोर आने की खबरें हैं, उत्पादक मंडियों में अभी तक बहुत भारी आवक शुरू नहीं हुई है, जिससे बाजार पर पुराना सप्लाई का दबाव नहीं है। इसकी नई फसल मंडियों में लगातार आ रही है। आगामी नवंबर-दिसंबर के त्योहारों और सर्दियो की शुरुआत के कारण घरेलू बाजार में बड़ी इलायची की मांग निरंतर निकल रही है। यहां पर एक सप्ताह के भीतर कैंचीकट के भाव 120 रुपए छलांग लगाकर 1650/1680 रुपए प्रति किलो पर जा पहुंचे। सिक्किम और सिलीगुड़ी की मुख्य उत्पादक व व्यापारिक मंडियों में अभी कुल फसल का लगभग 20/30 प्रतिशत माल ही बाजार में पहुंच रहा है। त्योहारी सीजन और सर्दियों की आहट को देखते हुए इसका भविष्य उज्जवल दिखाई दे रहा है।
