New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): Turmeric prices have softened slightly after witnessing the increment in the prices. Continuous selling pressure during the last week had brought spot prices of Erode Gatta turmeric to Rs19400/19500 per quintal, but weak buying towards the end of the week pulled prices back to Rs 18600/18700 per quintal. The arrivals of the new crop remained limited, whereas, there is a shortage of superior quality stock. The arrivals showed downfall at major markets such as Sangli and Nizamabad. Prices are also witnessing fluctuations due to speculative activity in the market. Strong traders and stockists are holding on to their stocks, resulting in tight supplies. Turmeric is expected to witness a consolidation followed by a rise in the near future.
हल्दी : ठहरकर बढ़ने की संभावना
नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएमनस) हल्दी की कीमतों में तेजी के बाद बाजार थोड़ा नरम हुआ है। पिछले सप्ताह लगातार बिकवाली चलने से हाजिर में हल्दी इरोड गट्टा के भाव 19400/16500 रुपए हो गए थे, लेकिन सप्ताह के अंत में लिवाली कमजोर होने से इरोड गट्टा वापस लौटकर 18600/18700 रुपए रह गई। नई फसल की आवक कम रहने और अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाले स्टॉक की कमी बनी हुई है। सांगली और निजामाबाद जैसी प्रमुख मंडियों में आवक कम हो रही है, और साथ ही मार्केट में सट्टेबाजी के कारण भी भावों में उतार-चढ़ाव देखा जा रहा है। मजबूत कारोबारी और स्टॉकिस्ट माल को रोककर बैठे हैं, जिससे बाजार में सप्लाई टाइट हो गई है।और निकट भविष्य में इसमें ठहरकर वृद्धि की संभावना है।
Red Chilli: No Possibility to increase
New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): Red chilli prices are currently witnessing a sluggish trend as demand reported to be weak. Guntur mandi remained closed a day earlier due to the weekly holiday. The prices of red chilli 334 no. prices had recently risen by Rs 500 to Rs 23300/24200 per quintal. The Production seems high this season, due to this, the arrivals showed uptrend in major markets such as Guntur and Warangal. Weak demand from key importing countries such as China, Bangladesh and Malaysia has affected exports. Sufficient amount of stock has been lying in China, due to this reason, the demand seems weak from the country. As a result, prices of varieties such as Teja chilli, which are mainly export-oriented, are under pressure.

नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएनएस) लालमिर्च की कीमतों में फिलहाल उठाव कमजोर पड़ने से इसमें सुस्ती का माहौल छाया हुआ है। गुंटूर मंडी में एक दिन पूर्व साप्ताहिक अवकाश रहा। हाल ही में इसमें 500 रुपए की तेजी आई थी, यहां पर 334 नंबर लालमिर्च 23300/24200 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल बोल रहे हैं। इस सीज़न में उत्पादन अधिक हुआ है, जिससे गुंटूर और वारंगल जैसी प्रमुख मंडियों में लालमिर्च की आवक ज्यादा हो गई है। चीन, बांग्लादेश और मलेशिया जैसे प्रमुख आयातक देशों से मांग कम होने के कारण निर्यात पर असर पड़ा है। चीन के पास पहले से ही पर्याप्त पुराना स्टॉक होने के कारण इस बार वहां से नई मांग बेहद कम है, जिससे मुख्य रूप से निर्यात होने वाली ‘तेजा मिर्चÓ जैसी वैरायटी के दामों पर दबाव बना हुआ है।
Poppy Seeds: will likely to remain sluggish

The prices of poppy seeds Turkey had recently increased by Rs 50 to Rs 1300/1400 per kg. The new crop began arriving in March and April. Apart from this, increasing arrivals in the mandis have put pressure on prices. Heavy availability of both new-crop and imported stocks has increased supplies in the market. Intermittent rainfall over the past few days and reports of a temporary ceasefire in the Iran war have also weakened the market sentiments. Spot poppy seed prices are likely to remain sluggish during the coming days.

नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएमनस) पोस्तदाना की कीमत तेजी के बाद अब बाजार सुस्त पड़ा हुआ है इससे पूर्व हाल ही में इसमें 50 रुपए की तेजी आई थी जिससे पोस्तदाना तुर्की के भाव 1300/1400 रुपए प्रति किलो के पूर्वस्तर पर टिके हुए हैं। मार्च और अप्रैल में पोस्तदाना की फसल शुरू हो गई है, जिससे मंडियों में नई फसल की आवक बढ़ने से कीमतों पर दबाव बना है। बाजार में नई फसल और आयातित माल की भारी उपलब्धता के कारण सप्लाय बढ़ी है, जिससे आपूर्ति बढ गई है। पिछले कुछ दिनों से रुक-रुककर हो रही वर्षा तथा ईरान जंग में अस्थाई सीजफायर की खबरों से बाजार की धारणा कमजोर हो रही है। आने वाले दिनों में हाजिर में पोस्तदाना में सुस्ती बनी रहने की संभावना है।
Coriander: Profitable at Current prices
New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): After rising earlier, coriander prices showed soft trend. The prices of coriander badami had recently declined by Rs 100 to 16,500/16,800 per quintal. Arrivals of the new crop at major markets in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh are reportedly below normal, due to this, the availability reported to be tight in the spot market. Supplies have also declined as stockists continue to hold their stocks. The arrival of fresh produce is still several months away, keeping domestic availability tight. Coriander is likely to consolidate and offer further gains in the coming days.

नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएमनस) धनिया की कीमतों में तेजी के बाद बाजार अब नरम देखा जा रहा है। हाल ही में इसकी कीमतों में 100 रुपए की नरमी आई थी, जिससे बादामी के भाव 16500/16800 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल रह गए है।राजस्थान और मध्य प्रदेश जैसी बड़ी मंडियों में नई फसल की आवक सामान्य से कम बताई जा रही है। जिससे हाजिर बाजार में धनिए की कमी बनी हुई है। इसके अलावा, स्टॉकिस्टों द्वारा माल रोककर रखने से भी बाजार में सप्लाई कम हो गई है। मंडियों में नया माल आने में अभी कई महीनों का समय है, जिसके कारण घरेलू स्तर पर उपलब्धता काफी टाइट हो गई है। आगामी दिनों में इसमें ठहरकर और लाभ मिलने की संभावना है।

Farmers currently expect prices to move higher in the coming period and are therefore bringing limited quantities of both old and new stocks to the mandis. This has reduced spot-market arrivals. At current price levels, many farmers and local traders are preferring to hold their produce rather than sell at lower prices. Spot black pepper prices are therefore expected to remain firm and may rise further in the coming days.

New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): Cumin prices are witnessing a recovery after the recent softness. As a result, average-quality cumin has increased by Rs 200 to Rs 22700/23900 per quintal. Higher arrivals of cumin are being reported at Unjha. Increased new-crop arrivals, weak export demand and profit-taking at higher levels have affected prices. Cumin prices had also declined due to weaker purchases from China, which impacted exports. Expectations of good production in Gujarat and Rajasthan are likely to increase supplies, while buyers are becoming less active at higher prices. A sustained rally is not expected in the coming days.

नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएमनस) जीरे की कीमतों में नरमी के बाद तेजी देखने को मिल रही है। जिसके परिणामसरूप यहां जीरा एवरेज क्वालिटी 200 रुपए बढ़कर 22700/23900 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल हो गए। ऊंझा में जीरे की आवक अधिक होने की सूचना मिल रही है। मंडियों में नई फसल की बढ़ी हुई आवक, कमजोर निर्यात मांग और ऊंचे भावों पर मुनाफावसूली है। चीन की कम खरीदारी के कारण निर्यात प्रभावित होने से भी जीरे के दाम गिरे चुके हैं। गुजरात और राजस्थान में फसल का अच्छा उत्पादन होने की उम्मीद से बाजार में आपूर्ति बढ़ी है, जिससे ऊंचे भाव पर खरीदार कम हो गए है। आगामी दिनों में लंबी तेजी की संभावना नहीं दिखाई दे रही है।

New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): After a modest rise in large cardamom prices in recent days, buying demand has weakened. As a result, big cardamom kainchicut prices have fallen by Rs 95 within a week to Rs 1580/1585 per kg. Traders and stockists are adopting a cautious approach amid expectations of the arrival of the new crop, affecting both buying and selling activity. Production is expected to be better this year, while traders already hold sufficient stocks, preventing prices from rising. Demand from wholesalers and stockists remains weak. Prices have also declined from elevated speculative levels. Given weak demand and expectations of new-crop arrivals, there appears to be little scope for a rise in the coming days.
