New Delhi, 22 October (NNS): The prices of sugar mill delivery and spot sugar remained sluggish at Rs 3980/4140 and Rs 4300/4450 per quintal respectively due to the weak demand and selling of the stock at the lower level by the mils of UP and Uttarakhand. In Mumbai, the prices of S-grade and M-grade also being quoted at Rs 3972/4032 and Rs 4020/4082 per quintal respectively because of the weak offtake. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the prices on seeing the supply and the new season will start soon.

नई दिल्ली, 22 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) उत्तराखंड व उत्तर प्रदेश के मिलों द्वारा भाव घटकर सेल दिए जाने तथा मांग कमजोर होने से मिल डिलीवरी भाव 3980/4140 रुपए तथा हाजिर के भाव 4300/4450 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल पर सुस्त रही। मुंबई में उठाव घटने से चीनी एस ग्रेड के भाव 3972/4032 रूपये तथा एम ग्रेड के भाव 4020/4082 रूपये प्रति क्विटंल बोले  गए। नया  सीजन शीघ्र शुरू होने एवं मांग को देखते हुए आगामी दिनों में अभी इसमें बढ़ने की संभावना कम है।
