New Delhi, 18 February (NNS): The prices of sugar mill delivery and spot sugar have been quoted at Rs 4030/4180 and Rs 4350/4500 per quintal respectively owing to the selling of the stock at the higher level by the mills of UP despite the higher production. In Mumbai, the prices of sugar S-grade and M-grade also ruling at Rs 3870/3972 and Rs 3972/4042 per quintal respectively because of the feeble selling. There is no possibility of more downfall in the prices on seeing the supply and demand during the near future.

चीनी-मंदा नहीं

नई दिल्ली, 18 फरवरी (एनएनएस) उत्पादन अधिक होने के बावजूद यूपी की मिलों द्वारा भाव बढ़ा कर सेल दिए जाने से चीनी मिल डिलीवरी 4030/4180 तथा हाजिर में इसके भाव 4350/4500 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल बोले गए। बिकवाली कमजोर होने से मुंबई में चीन एस ग्रेड 3870/3942 तथा एवं एम ग्रेड के भाव 3972/4042 रुपए प्रति कुंतल बोले गए। आपूर्ति और मांग को देखते हुए इसमें  मंदे की संभावना कम है।
