New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): Almond kernel prices have softened in Delhi and other major markets over the past few weeks. Container-loads of almonds have started arriving from overseas in producing and importing markets, improving supply. Recently, prices declined by Rs 30 to Rs 1060/1130 per kg. Meanwhile, high prices have temporarily weakened demand at both the retail and wholesale levels, as buyers have restricted purchases at elevated rates. However, there is no reason for concern. In view of the upcoming Diwali demand, the market is expected to strengthen further.

बादामगिरी : ठहरकर और चढ़ेगी

नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) दिल्ली व अन्य प्रमुख मंडियों में हाल के हफ्तों में बादामगिरी के भाव में नरमी देखने को मिली है।उत्पादक और आयातक मंडियों में विदेशों से कंटेनर के कंटेनर बादाम की आवक होने लगी है, जिससे आपूर्ति बेहतर हुई है। हाल ही में इसके भाव 30 रुपए घटकर 1060/1130 रुपए प्रति किलो रह गए। उधर ऊंचे दामों की वजह से स्थानीय और थोक स्तर पर मांग कुछ समय के लिए कमजोर हुई है, क्योंकि ऊंचे भाव पर खरीदारों ने खरीदारी सीमित कर दी है। लेकिन घबराने की बात नहीं है, आगामी दिवाली की मांग को देखते हुए बाजार आगे सुर्ख बना रहगा।

Cashew: Prices Likely to Remain Firm

New Delhi, 26 October (NNS): Production of cashews and fresh arrivals of raw cashew nuts have declined this season in major producing regions and markets. Support from buying demand and lower old-crop stocks have helped keep cashew prices stable. Recently, prices had increased by Rs 50 per kg, following which four-piece cashew kernels remained at their previous level of Rs 750/800 per kg in Delhi. Ahead of Diwali, Chhath Puja and the upcoming wedding season, purchases of cashews in wholesale and local markets have increased significantly, driven by sweet manufacturers, gift-pack businesses and consumers. Prices are likely to rise further in the near future.

काजू : मजबूत बना रहेगा

नई दिल्ली, 26 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) प्रमुख उत्पादक क्षेत्रों और मंडियों में इस बार काजू के उत्पादन तथा कच्चे काजू की ताजा आवक में कमी दर्ज की गई है। ग्राहकी का समर्थन मिलने तथा पुराना स्टॉक कम होने से काजू की कीमतों में स्थिरता देखने को मिल रही है। हाल ही में इसमें 50 रुपए की तेजी आई थी, जिसके परिणामस्वरूप यहां काजू (चार टुकड़ा ) 750/800 रुपए प्रति किलो पूर्व स्तर पर टिके रहे। दिवाली, छठ पूजा और आगामी शादी के सीजन को देखते हुए मिठाई निर्माताओं, गिफ्ट पैक बनाने वाले कारोबारियों और आम उपभोक्ताओं द्वारा काजू की थोक और स्थानीय खरीदारी में भारी तेजी आई है। निकट भविष्य के अंदर इसमें तेजी की संभावना अधिक है।
