New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): Almond kernel prices remained stable at the same level. The prices of almond kernel California prices had recently increased by Rs 20/30 to Rs 1050/1140 per kg. Imports of almonds into India from the international market have declined sharply. For instance, the number of containers imported into India has fallen considerably compared with last year. In view of the shortage of stocks in the market, large traders and stockists have stepped up buying which results in a sharp rise in prices. The Indian rupee seems weak against the American US dollar, in this situation, its imports more expensive. Adverse weather conditions in major almond-producing regions such as California, Australia and Jammu & Kashmir have damaged crops, reducing global availability.

नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएमनस) बादामगिरी की कीमतों में इस समय मजबूती का रुख बना हुआ है। हाल ही में इसमें 20/30 रुपए की तेजी के आई थी, जिससे कैलिफोर्निया के भाव तेज होकर 1050/1140 रुपए प्रति किलो हो गए। अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार से भारत आने वाले बादाम के आयात में भारी कमी आई है। उदाहरण के लिए, पिछले साल के मुकाबले भारत में आयातित कंटेनर्स की संख्या काफी घट गई है। बाजार में माल की कमी को देखते हुए बड़े व्यापारियों और स्टॉकिस्टों ने मजबूत लिवाली की है, जिससे कीमतें तेजी से ऊपर गई हैं। अमेरिकी डॉलर के मुकाबले भारतीय रुपये के कमजोर रहने से विदेशों से बादाम मंगवाना महंगा पड़ रहा है। कैलिफोर्निया, ऑस्ट्रेलिया और जम्मू-कश्मीर जैसे प्रमुख बादाम उत्पादक क्षेत्रों में मौसम की खराबी के कारण फसल को नुकसान हुआ है, जिससे वैश्विक उपलब्धता घट गई है।

Cashew: Firm Trend to Continue

New Delhi, 31 August (NNS): Lower production and declining old stocks have increased the cost of imported cashews. As a result, cashew four-piece prices have remained at their previous level of Rs 770/820 per kg over the past week. Shortages in raw-material supplies and adverse weather conditions in major producing countries have damaged crops. Although the new crop has started arriving, the weakness of the rupee is making imported cashews more expensive, keeping prices under pressure. Several processing factories in Vietnam are facing shortages, while increased bookings are adding pressure to the Indian market. Expectations of higher import costs for raw cashews could keep market sentiment firm.

काजू : मजबूत बना रहेगा

नई दिल्ली, 31 अगस्त (एनएमनस) उत्पादन कम होने तथा पुराना स्टॉक घटने से आयातित काजू की लागत बढ़ गई है। इसके परिणामस्वरूप यहां काजू (चार टुकड़ा) एक सप्ताह के अंतराल 770/820 रुपए प्रति किलो के पूर्वस्तर पर टिका हुआ है। कच्चे माल की आपूर्ति में कमी तथा प्रमुख उत्पादक देशों में प्रतिकूल मौसम के कारण फसल को नुकसान हुआ है। हालांकि इसकी नई फसल शुरू हो गई है, लेकिन कमजोर रुपया आयातित काजू को और महंगा बना रहा है, जिससे कीमतों पर दबाव बना हुआ है। वियतनाम की कई प्रोसेसिंग फैक्ट्रियों में माल की कमी और बुकिंग बढ़ने के कारण भारतीय बाजार पर दबाव बढ़ गया है। कच्चे काजू की आयात लागत बढ़ने की आशंका से बाजार की धारणा मजबूत हो सकती है।
