New Delhi, 28 October (NNS): The prices of sugar mill delivery rose by Rs 100 to Rs 5600/6000 per quintal owing to the selling of the stock at the higher level by the mills of UP and increment in diwali demand. Spot sugar prices also went up in the same ratio to Rs 6100/6300 per quintal.  In Mumbai, the prices of sugar S-grade and M-grade remained at Rs 5152/5302 and Rs 5302/5492 per quintal respectively amid increment in demand. There is no possibility of more downfall in the prices on seeing the festival season during the coming days.

चीनी-मंदा नहीं

नई  दिल्ली, 28 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) दीपावली मांग बढ़ने एवं यूपी की मिलो द्वारा ऊंचे भाव पर सेल दिए जाने के कारण मिल डीलवरी चीनी 100 रुपए बढ़कर 5600/6000 रूपए एवं हाजिर चीनी के भाव 6100/6300 रुपए प्रति कुंतल हो गया। हालांकि मुंबई  मांग बढ़ने से चीनी एस ग्रेड के भाव 5152/5302 रुपए तथा एम ग्रेड 5302/5492 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल हो गए। त्योहारी सीजन को देखते हुए आने वाले दिनों में इसमें गिरावट की संभावना कम है।
