New Delhi, 28 January (NNS): The government has allotted 22.50 lakh tonnes of sugar quota for the month of February which is higher b y 50000 tonnes as compared to January. The prices of sugar mill delivery and spot sugar remained firm at Rs 3970/4150 and Rs 4300/4450 per quintal respectively  due to the weak selling from the stockists. The prices of sugar S-grade and M-grade rose by Rs 15/20 to Rs 3816/3960 and Rs 3902/3960 per quintal respectively amid weak selling. There is no possibility of more uptrend in the prices on seeing the supply and demand.

चीनी-ज्यादा तेजी नहीं

नई दिल्ली, 28 जनवरी (एनएनएस) सरकार द्वारा $फरवरी के लिए 22.50 लाख टन कोटा आवंटित किया है। जो जनवरी की तुलना में 50 हजार टन अधिक है। स्टाकिस्टों की बिकवाली घटने से चीनी मिल डिलीवरी 3970/4150 तथा हाजिर में इसके भाव 4300/4450 रुपए प्रति कुंतल पर टिके रहे। बिकवाली कमजोर होने से मुंबई में चीन एस ग्रेड 15/20 रुपए बढ़कर 3816/3960 तथा एम ग्रेड के भाव 3902/3960 रुपए प्रति कुंतल हो गए। आपूर्ति और मांग को देखते हुए इसमें  तेजी की संभावना कम है।
