New Delhi, 31 December (NNS): The prices of gur pedi held strong at Rs 4300/4400 per quintal due to the higher demand amid severe cold weather and bullish news from the markets of western UP. The prices of gur dhaiya also being quoted at Rs 4500/4600 per quintal because of the limited selling. The prices of gur balti remained firm at Rs 1590/1640 per 40 kg due to the weak arrivals. There is no possibility of more downfall in the prices on seeing the consumption season.

नई दिल्ली, 31 दिसम्बर (एनएनएस) पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश की मंडियों के मजबूत समाचार आने एवं सर्दी बढ़ने के कारण ग्राहकी निकलने से गुड़ पेड़ी के भाव 4300/4400 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल पर मजबूत रहे। सीमित बिकवाली के कारण गुड़ ढैया के भाव 4500/4600 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल बोले गए। आवक कमज़ोर होने हापुड़ मंडी गुड़ बाल्टी के भाव 1590/1640 रुपए प्रति 40 किलों पर टिके रहे। खपत के सीजन को देखते हुए इसमें गिरावट की संभावना कम है।
