New Delhi, 23 October (NNS): In the local markets, the prices of sugar mill delivery declined by Rs 25/50 to Rs 3800/3970 per quintal due to the constant selling from the mills of UP and over of the diwali demand. Similarly, in spot, its prices also dropped down in the same ratio to Rs 4100/4200 per quintal. In Mumbai, the prices of sugar S-grade and M-grade also being quoted at Rs 3721/3782 and Rs 3772/3969 per quintal respectively because of the weak offtake. There is no possibility of more decrement in the prices during the near future.

चीनी : ज्यादा मंदा नहीं

नई दिल्ली, 23 अक्टूबर (एनएनएस) दीपावली मांग समाप्त होने तथा यूपी की मिलों की बिकवाली आने से स्थानीय बाजार में चीनी 25/50 रूपये मुलायम होकर मिल डिलीवरी 3800/3970 रुपए तथा हाजिर में इसके भाव 4100/4200 रूपए प्रति क्विंटल रह गए। मुंबई में उठाव कमजोर होने से चीनी एस ग्रेड के भाव 3712/3782 रूपये तथा एम ग्रेड के भाव 3772/3936 रूपये प्रति क्विंटल बोले गए। भविष्य में इसमें अधिक मंदे की संभावना कम है।
